🇫🇷 Thinking about Bordeaux again.

Back in May 2018, I visited Bordeaux during a river cruise and it became one of those places that stayed with me long after I returned home.

From the elegant riverside and the famous water mirror to the parks, cafés and relaxed atmosphere, it was a city I really enjoyed exploring.

With the new direct Loganair flights from Jersey now underway, it’s been lovely looking back on these memories again.😊

🇯🇴 Jordan felt like stepping into another time entirely ✨

There’s something quite humbling about standing amongst places that have existed for thousands of years and realising how small you are within the story of it all.

I remember the warmth of the stone, the colour of the landscape and that constant feeling of wanting to look around the next corner to see what appeared next.

Some places stay with you long after you return home.

📸 Apparently it’s National Selfie Day… so I had a little trip down memory lane. 🌍

Here are just a few examples from my travels over the years.

Some are reasonably successful. Some are slightly wonky. And some… well, let’s just say they capture the moment rather better than they capture me! 😂

I’ve discovered that perfect selfies are overrated anyway.

The memories, though? Those have been absolutely priceless. ❤️
