Award-winning destination Jamaica has once again emerged as the Caribbean’s top choice for Canadian travellers after capturing two major honours at the 2026 TravelPulse Canada Readers’ Choice Awards in Toronto.
Jamaica was named Best Destination – Caribbean, while the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) also secured the award for Best Tourism Board – Caribbean during the prestigious ceremony attended by leaders and key stakeholders in the Canadian travel industry.
The recognition serves as a powerful endorsement from some of Canada’s most trusted travel professionals and further reinforces Jamaica’s position as the premier Caribbean destination within one of its most important source markets.
Minister of Tourism, Hon. Edmund Bartlett, described the achievement as a strong validation of Jamaica’s tourism product, people and partnerships, noting that the awards reflect the island’s continued commitment to delivering world-class travel experiences and strengthening ties with Canadian visitors.
Director of Tourism, Donovan White, also highlighted that Jamaica’s warmth, hospitality and service excellence continue to distinguish the destination globally.
