Celebrity offers a mix of entertainment throughout the ship, from live theater performances to musicians playing at venues like Eden in the evenings.

One night you might catch a production show in the theater, the next you’re sitting in Eden with a cocktail listening to live music.

It adds to the overall atmosphere onboard without the ship constantly feeling loud or over the top.

Definitely something to keep in mind if you’re comparing different cruise lines.

Graduation season in Hawai‘i is a different experience than in other states.

At the end of the commencement, graduates are met by family and friends in an outdoor area for a lei ceremony. By the end of the ceremony graduates are often covered in layers of leis that they received from family and friends.

Fresh flowers, candy leis, ribbon leis, kukui nut leis, handmade money leis… each one representing love, pride, and celebration.

It’s one of those moments that reminds you Hawai‘i is more than just beautiful scenery. There’s a deep sense of community and tradition woven into everyday life there.

While many guests headed to the Royal Beach Club during Celebrity Ascent’s port day in Nassau, I took advantage of the quieter ship and booked a Fire & Ice pedicure at The Spa.

Honestly… zero regrets!!

Port days ended up being one of my favorite times to enjoy the ship.
