Meet Travel Advisor of the Month Christine Earls
You and me by the Sea Travel
Islip, NY
What has been one of your key elements to success?
One of the key elements to my success has been a commitment to continuous learning and building strong relationships. The travel industry is constantly evolving, and I believe it's important to stay informed so I can provide the best possible guidance to my clients. I regularly participate in training programs, webinars, resort updates, and industry events to stay current on the latest offerings from Sandals and Beaches Resorts.
I am also fortunate to have an incredible Business Development Manager, Kimberly Dano, who has been instrumental in my growth. I am always reaching out to Kim for the latest updates, training opportunities, and events I can attend to stay in the loop. She has provided valuable insight on ways to grow my Sandals and Beaches business while helping me better understand the products and experiences available to my clients. Her guidance, combined with a dedication to exceptional client service, has been a major factor in my success.
What is the best part about selling Sandals & Beaches Resorts?
The best part about selling Sandals and Beaches Resorts is helping clients celebrate life's most meaningful moments. Whether it's a honeymoon, destination wedding, anniversary, family vacation, or multi-generational getaway, I have the privilege of helping clients create memories that will last a lifetime.
I love that Sandals and Beaches offer something for everyone while maintaining a consistently high level of service. Knowing that my clients can arrive at a beautiful resort and truly relax because so much is included allows me to confidently recommend these resorts time and time again.
Why should clients choose Sandals and Beaches Resorts for their next vacation?
Sandals and Beaches Resorts offer an exceptional all-inclusive experience that allows guests to focus on making memories instead of worrying about the details. From gourmet dining, premium beverages, entertainment, land and water sports, airport transfers, and luxurious accommodations, so much is included in the vacation price.
What truly sets Sandals and Beaches apart is the level of service and variety of experiences available. Whether a couple is looking for a romantic escape at Sandals or a family is searching for an unforgettable vacation at Beaches, there is a resort and destination to match their travel style. Clients can choose from stunning Caribbean islands, unique room categories, and experiences that create lifelong memories.
What’s the best part about working with your Sandals & Beaches BDM?
Without question, the best part about working with Kimberly Dano is knowing that she is genuinely invested in my success. She is always willing to answer questions, provide guidance, share updates, and connect me with opportunities to learn and grow.
One of my favorite memories is that my very first Sandals sale was generated while attending a Firehouse Fair on Long Island with Kim. As a new travel advisor, that experience showed me the value of building relationships, being present in the community, and believing in the products I represent. Looking back, it's amazing to see how far I've come since that first booking.
Kimberly continually encourages me to challenge myself, grow my business, and stay engaged with the Sandals and Beaches community. Her support, knowledge, and enthusiasm make her an invaluable partner, and I am grateful for everything she has done to help me succeed.
If you could stay at any Sandals or Beaches in any room category, where would you go and why?
It's so hard to choose just one Sandals Resort because each resort has its own unique island personality and feel, even though they are all part of the Sandals family. Every destination offers something different, which is one of the reasons I enjoy helping clients find the resort that best matches their travel style.
If I had to choose, I would love to stay in the Two-Story Overwater Villa at Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. One of the unique perks available to Butler-level guests is the option to arrive at the resort by ferry. I love the idea of approaching the resort from the water and watching it come into view, almost like a scene from The White Lotus. The arrival experience is breathtaking and creates a memorable first impression before you even step foot on the property.
What makes St. Vincent even more special to me is a sunset catamaran cruise I experienced while visiting the island. As the sun was setting, we found ourselves surrounded by dolphins swimming alongside the boat. It was one of those magical travel moments that you simply can't plan for, but never forget. With its lush green mountains, unspoiled beauty, luxurious accommodations, and unforgettable experiences like that sunset sail, St. Vincent would be my dream Sandals escape.
As a travel advisor, I love helping my clients create those moments, the ones that turn a vacation into a lifelong memory.
What’s a fun fact about your journey in the travel industry?
A fun fact about my journey in the travel industry is that it was actually a dream many years in the making. Ever since high school, I wanted to work in the travel industry. My uncle owned his own travel agency in Freeport, New York, and I was fascinated by the idea of helping people explore the world and create lasting memories.
Life, however, had other plans. Instead of pursuing travel right away, I spent more than 22 years building a successful career in bookkeeping and operations. While it wasn't the path I originally envisioned, it gave me valuable skills in organization, problem-solving, and customer service that I now use every day as a travel advisor.
In 2020, I finally took the leap and followed the dream I had been carrying with me since high school by launching You and Me By The Sea Travel. Looking back, I realize I didn't take the wrong path—I simply took the scenic route to get here. Today, I have the privilege of helping clients create some of life's most meaningful memories, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else.
