Perched approximately 1,700 feet above ground on the cliffs of St. Elizabeth, the Lover’s Leap Lighthouse is one of Jamaica’s most iconic heritage landmarks. As one of nine onshore lighthouses managed by the Port Authority of Jamaica, it was constructed by our Engineering Department, showcasing the technical capability that supports the nation’s maritime infrastructure.

Today, Lover’s Leap Lighthouse continues to attract visitors, offering a striking vantage point over the South Coast while remaining an important part of Jamaica’s maritime history.
