The Government of Jamaica (and the wider Caribbean) needs to change its policies and strategies to achieve Sustainable Development of our Tourism Industry. Focusing on massive All-Inclusive Hotel resorts which essentially lock out locals and do not support community development is not sustainable. Small boutique villas and hotels encouraging visitors to sample the rich Jamaican culture and spreading the wealth to the community-based business operators is the best way to have true "sustainability".
