Hello everyone. We want to take this time to let you know that finally, after 4 FULL long months, the ELECTRICITY FINALLY CAME BACK IN OUR VILLAGE! this was a rough ride but we made it!! With all of your AMAZING GENEROSITY, RastaSafari Experience was able to help over 50+ households get back roofs on their heads and windows on their walls, with about 25% of the funds still to be disbursed, which we expect to bring it up to a total of 70 households that will benefit from your help!! The greenery is starting to come back to a very decent level, people have roofs on their heads again and life is slowly getting back to a certain normalcy. Once again, we want to say a HUGE thank you for everyone who were so generous to share and give for the cause. We will never forget and will always appreciate what you all did to help this community get back on its feet. One love, respect, jah bless

Greetings everyone. We are TRULY overjoyed to announce that we will be RE OPENING RastaSafari Experience on this 15th of December!! As you know, our village took one of the biggest hit on the island, from one of the most POWERFUL storm in recorded history. The place hasn't fully recovered as yet, obviously, but the clean up operation is WELL advanced, and the reconstruction of the structures, with your help with the GOFUNDME, is under way.

We also wanna make a VERY important announcement!! After raising the equivalent of 20'000$usd, RastaSafari Experience will match these donations over a period of time, as well as REINVESTING ALL PROFIT made back into the village of ROARING RIVER, WESTMORELAND, for a indefinite period.

We are forever grateful for all our past clients, people who shared and donated for the cause, as well as all of our future beloved visitors, who will truly make a difference in getting a whole community of jamaicans get back on their feet! We are TRULY excited to host back you all into our special place, where we will show you the same love and true culture of Jamaica, which NO STORM can EVER tear apart! We love you!! Hello everyone. Just a quick update. We want to thank EACH and EVERYONE of you who shared and donated to the gofundme, your kindness is truly appreciated, something really amazing. We have now advanced a LOT the cleaning up of the village, and we are about to start getting the materials to rebuild the community. It is not an easy road but we will get there. We will also VERY SOON announce the official REOPENING date with a very important announcement that will go along it. God bless you all, and will keep everyone posted on the next steps for our now distressed but hopeful community.

Hello everyone, and thank you for your patience. We have now finally set up the GOFUNDME to support and help rebuild the community of Roaring River. We hate to do this , but we now have NO other choice but to ask for your generosity as countless lives here are DESTROYED. This help will be directly invested in the purchase of bulk building materials to start re building the HUNDREDS of homes that have been decimated by Hurricane Melissa. We truly appreciate your help as this will give hope to the people of the Roaring River community who lost not only their homes, but most of their belongings, businesses, memories, everything....

Hurricane Melissa COMPLETELY destroyed our village of Roaring River, Westmoreland. Hundreds of people are WITHOUT A HOME, THEY LOST EVERYTHING!!! THANK GOD THERE WAS NO LOSS OF LIFE IN OUR COMMUNITY.
