Y’all, who you hire matters! 

This story is CRAZY and such an important reminder to know exactly who you’re trusting with your vacation and your money.

Dozens of travelers in Omaha are alleging they paid a travel agent thousands of dollars for vacations, only to later discover reservations had been canceled or were never booked. One family says they are out $42,000, and another group says they were encouraged to pay through Venmo.

NEVER Venmo or Zelle thousands of dollars to some random person you don’t know for a vacation. Ask for credentials!

Here’s something a lot of people don’t realize: you do not need a professional certification to call yourself a travel agent. That absolutely blows my mind when we are responsible for thousands of dollars and some of the biggest trips of our clients’ lives.

This is one of the reasons I invest heavily in doing business the RIGHT way.
