"ETC Universities Webinar".
حيث نتشرف بحضور جميع المهتمين من طلاب الجامعات وكودادرها التدريسية.
تهدف الندوة لتعريف طلاب الجامعات والكوادر التدريسية بالفرص الفريدة التي يقدمها مركز التدريب الكهربائي بالإضافة لمناقشة بعض المواضيع العملية التي تهم الطلاب.

مركز التدريب الكهربائي (ETC) هو أحد دوائر شركة الكهرباء الوطنية (NEPCO) وهو مركز تدريب رائد يزود المهندسين والفنيين بتدريب ذو جودة عالية باستخدام أجهزة واقعية ومدربين ممارسين للعمل الميداني. ويقوم المركز بتدريب كوادر قطاع الكهرباء وطلاب الجامعات الراغبين من داخل الأردن وخارجها .

Our AEE student chapter is collaborating with one of AEE REES chapter’s speakers, Eng. Farah Qaqish, to provide a fruitful discussion about career options in the field of energy engineering after graduation, and to address any questions in mind regarding this matter.

Our president, our treasurer, and two members from the AEE PSUT student chapter gave an interactive presentation to spread the knowledge and talk about the history of the light bulb. Also, the chapter did a small Christmas celebration, which included decorating the Christmas tree with ornaments that have fun facts about different scientists in history.

Big thanks to Dr. Ayman Faza our advisor and Dr. Majd Batarseh for joining us and for their continuous support.

In collaboration with STREAM, the AEE family would like to invite you this Thursday where two speakers will provide valuable information to the audience.
Eng. Shada El Sharif, our first speaker, will focus on the impact of clean energy on the climate and its transition in Jordan and the MENA region.
Our second speaker is Eng. Zaid Aghabi CEM, where he will give a brief introduction to solar energy, the types of solar systems, its main components and the design procedure of solar systems.

Our president and two members from the AEE PSUT Student Chapter participated in the conference "Building Resilience, Building Confidence" which was organized by the Inter-Islamic Network on Water Resources Development and Management (INWRDAM), Petra Development & Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) and Kyoto University.

The conference discussed the importance of helping society to prepare for and adapt to future weather extremes and other climate impacts through strategies and plans for disaster risk reduction.

The event hosted several relevant research themes and projects in an attempt for integrating ideas and critical pertinent data.

The AEE PSUT Student Chapter AEE PSUT organized a site visit to Izzat Marji Group (IMG) which is a LEED Platinum building and one of Jordan’s leading providers of PV systems.

Our advisor, Dr. Ayman Faza, and 20 students joined the visit.
We were greeted by a team from Izzat Marji who gave us a talk about green buildings, solar systems and the projects they worked on.

They discussed the construction of the building, as well as the certifications a green building can receive. Finally, we were given a great tour of the building.
