Modern American School

The Modern American School is an international college preparatory school situated in west Amman the capital of Jordan. It fosters an environment of academic excellence and multicultural appreciation. Our views on education stem from the principle that schooling at MAS is not only grounded in a strong academic platform but also in an educational experience that prepares our students to become leaders of their own world in a safe and supportive environment. The academic opportunities at the Modern American School are diverse to meet our students' needs and interests. We offer the American Program as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Our school is co-educational and caters to all levels from KG-12 with a staff of highly trained teachers and administrators from different nationalities. MAS has been accredited by Cognia/AdvancED, the largest community of education professionals in the world since 2003. As an international school, guided by its vision and mission, MAS is invested in offering educational opportunities that serve both the Jordanian and international communities in Amman, our student body is multicultural and comprised of more than 50 nationalities. Our students have an invaluable advantage of being simultaneously immersed in the rich Arab culture.


إن المدرســة الأمريكيــة الحديثــة، مدرســة دوليــة تحضيريــة للجامعات تقــع في غــرب عـمـان، عاصمــة الأردن، وهــي تشــجع بيئة التميــز الأكاديمــي، وتعــزز احــترام الثقافــات المتعــددة مــع التركيــز عـلـى الترابــط الــدولي والمشــاركة الاجتماعية. وتنطلــق رؤيــة المدرســة بان التعليــم لا يرتكـز علـى منصـة أكاديمية قويـة فحسـب، بـل يشـمل ايضـا تجربـة تعليميـة تهدف إلى إعــداد الطلبــة; ليصبحــوا قــادة المســتقبل في بيئة آمنــة وداعمــة.


المدرســة الأمريكيــة الحديثة مختلطــة، حيث تخــدم جميــع المســتويات مــن الروضــة وحتــى الصــف الثــاني عشـر ولديهـا طاقمهـا الخـاص مـن المعلميـن والإداريين مــن ذوي الخــبرات الواســعة ومــن مختلــف الجنســيات.

تتنوع الفرص الأكاديمية في المدرسة الأمريكية الحديثة لتلبية احتياجات الطلبة واهتماماتهم حيث نقدم البرنامج الأمريكي وكذلك برنامج دبلوم البكالوريا الدولية (IBDP) وتسعى المدرسة للحصول على ترخيص لتقديم برامج MYP وPYP.

تـم اعتماد المدرسـة دولًيـا مـن قبـل الهيئة التعليميـة الدوليـة المشـهورة Cognia / ٬AdvancED منـذ 2003، وتضـم هـذه الهيئة عـددًا كبًرا مـن خـبراء التعليـم في العـالم. وتخضـع المدرسـة بانتظـام لتقييـم شـامل مـن اجل توفـر أفضل تعليـم للطلبـة. وكمدرسـة دوليـة لهـا رؤيتهـا ورسـالتها، قامـت المدرسـة بتقديـم فـرص تعليميـة تخـدم المجتمعين الأردني والدولي ويتمتـع طلابهـا بأكثر من ٥٠ جنسـية مختلفـة مـع المحافظـة علـى الهويــة الوطنيــة والثقافــة العربيــة والــتراث والقيــم الاجتماعيـة.
