The event was organized by the Pioneers Association for Astronomical Tourism and the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences, with support and sponsorship from the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority.

Some of the major events and prizes for camel racing are the Camel Cup in Australia, the Al Marmoom Heritage Festival in Dubai, and the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in Saudi Arabia. 💰

The Camel Cup: held in Alice Springs, Australia, with a prize purse of around $30,000 AUD2
