The Wadi Rum Trail will be holding its first ever thru hike this coming winter, in the last days before Christmas and New Year. A small team will be following the trail more than 120km through the beautiful deserts of Wadi Rum, crossing wide, sweeping wadis, high plateaulands and towering rock bridges, ending with a traverse of Jordan's greatest mountain jewel: the magnificent Jebel Rum. Tourism is down but Jordan is still safe, despite everything happening around it; it always has been and always will be and you always will be safe in Wadi Rum with the Bedouin. Hiking the Wadi Rum Trail will be the best way to end the year and is a chance to be part of a unique journey that will be remembered for a long time to come.
