タイGPのスプリントレースは地元のヒーロー、チャントラ選手の応援スタンドから我らが小椋藍選手を全力で応援📣こちらのスタンドではレース前にマイクを持ち込んだ応援団長風の方の合図に合わせてチャントラコールをしたりワイワイと盛り上がって超満席！！
そして日曜日はTRACKHOUSEさんのご厚意でコースサイドに入れるパスをお貸しいただけたのでチャントラスタンド前のサービスロードでスクリーンを見ながら観戦する事に。すぐ目の前を走り抜けていくバイクのスピードと爆音、そして周回ごとに縮まれっと念じ続けた藍選手とモルビデリ選手のギャップにハラハラしているうちに気が付けばチェッカーフラッグ🏁
スタートをしっかり決めて死ぬほど暑い気温をものともせず集中力を切らさずに26周のレースをしっかり５位で走り切った藍選手、、、ただコースサイドで立って見てるだけでも暑さで朦朧とするのにものすごいフィジカルとメンタル‼️
パドックに戻って藍選手のお父様とお友達と握手を交わし、最高のレースウィークを締めくくりました！やっぱり現地観戦は最高ですね✨
At the Thailand GP sprint race, we cheered with all our might for our very own Ai Ogura from the grandstand dedicated to local hero Chantra! This stand was packed to the brim with excitement, and before the race, an enthusiastic leader with a microphone led the crowd in chanting Chantra’s name, creating an incredible atmosphere.
On Sunday, thanks to the generosity of TRACKHOUSE, we were given passes that allowed us to watch the race from the service road right in front of the Chantra grandstand. We watched the screen while feeling the roar and speed of the bikes racing past just in front of us. As we anxiously hoped for Ai Ogura to close the gap with Morbidelli, lap after lap, time flew by, and before we knew it, the checkered flag waved. 🏁
Ai had a strong start, maintained his focus despite the scorching heat, and pushed through all 26 laps to secure 5th place. Just standing there watching was enough to make us feel dizzy from the heat, yet he demonstrated incredible physical and mental endurance!
After the race, we returned to the paddock, shook hands with Ai’s father and his friend, and wrapped up an unforgettable race weekend.
Watching races on-site is truly the best! ✨
