2026 Arimatsu shibori festival.
It is a very good time to explore the traditional tie dye of Japan.

Highlights

Market & Shopping: A wide variety of tie-dyed products, including yukata (summer kimonos) and fabric, are sold.

Artisan Demonstrations: Craftsmen demonstrate the delicate shibori tie-dyeing techniques.

Dashi Floats: Traditional, decorated floats (designated as Cultural Treasures of the People) are showcased, sometimes featuring performances by mechanical dolls.

Parking: No parking at the venue. Use public transport or the temporary lot at Odaka Greenery Park.
