Not to far from an onsen and a river but not easy to find. This spot is a true Gem. It is one of the 16 spots we like to go to, powder and no crowds...apart from the school kids.

Let's be real here, 2026 snow season was warmer than usual, so we went further and found enough of the good stuff to satisfy the cravings. Interestingly once again no crowds, no queuing.
So arigato Hokkaido or should I say Dohoku!
And thanks to our guests without you coming back year after year, it wouldn't be the same experience.
