Ueno Park is famous for its cherry blossoms.
I visited before the big crowds arrived.
It’s a very large park and a perfect place for a relaxing walk. Even in the middle of Tokyo, it feels calm and peaceful.
There are many shrines and temples in the park, but my recommendation is Ueno Toshogu Shrine.
You can see its dazzling buildings covered in gold leaf.
There is a small entrance fee, but it’s definitely worth going inside.
The inner area has a very special atmosphere.
