Exciting News for iPhone and Apple Watch Users Traveling to Japan!
This spring, JR-East is launching a new service that will make traveling on public transportation in Japan easier than ever. The service allows iPhone and Apple Watch users to download and use Suica, Japan’s convenient prepaid transportation card, even before arriving in the country.

You can top up your Suica balance through the app in advance, eliminating the need for cash-based recharges. This new feature offers unparalleled convenience for navigating Japan’s trains and buses.

Can’t wait for this service to launch!

The Welcome Suica Mobile app for iOS allows users to issue and top-up Suica. Suica is a prepaid form of electronic money that can be used for trains, buses, shopping and more!

Today, I’d like to introduce a new wagashi (Japanese sweets) shop in Tokyo that opened this August. It originates from Tamba City in Hyogo Prefecture. Tamba is a well-known region in Japan, famous for its high-quality beans. The shop offers a variety of sweets made with locally sourced ingredients from Tamba, including beans and chestnuts, bringing authentic flavours from this renowned region straight to the heart of Tokyo.

The top recommendation is their seasonal, limited-edition
Mont Blanc. It looked so delicious that I completely forgot to take a photo and just ate it!
Every sweet I tried was fantastic, and I must say, there's nothing like pairing wagashi with a good cup of Japanese tea.
