On the IUCN’s collected papers “Asian Sacred Natural Sites” in English published by the publisher in London, all the section “Mt. Fuji’s history as spiritual realm and means for its preservation” ,which was written by co-writer Toshiko Ono (this site manager), is shown in English and Japanese.
As well as overseas non-Japanese people, Japanese people may have interest in the contents of the paper which sates the meaning and situation of the environment which cannot be divided from worshiping Mt.Fuji.
また昨年IUCN（国際自然保護連合）によってロンドンの出版社から刊行された英語による論文集Asian Sacred Natural Sites（アジアの自然の中の聖地）には、本サイトの管理者である小野俊彦が共同執筆したセクションMt. Fuji’s history as spiritual realm and means for its preservation （聖地としての富士山の歴史とその保護持つ意味）の全文を日本語併記して随時公開していきます。海外の方には勿論のこと、多くの日本人にも富士山の信仰と不可分であった自然環境のもつ意味と現状について、是非とも知っていただきたい内容です。

We have performed environmental education activities around Mt.Fuji over 25 years and gave interpretation to over 200,000 participants. Also, we have experiences of land-operator for international conference excursions and NGO donation tours so that we have supported environment friendly camps and trekking.
Also, we have actively participated forums and symposiums related with Mt.Fuji, and kept making statements on current issues related with Mt.Fuji at the sessions of international conferences.
私たちは、25年にわたる富士山周辺での環境教育活動を実施し、延べ20万人以上の参加者に対しインタープリテーションを実施してきました。また各種国際会議のエクスカーションや海外NGO団体の主催する現地ツアーのランドオペレーターして、環境負荷に配慮したキャンプやトレッキングをサポートした実績があります。
また富士山に関わるフォーラムやシンポジウムなどにも積極的に参加し、国際会議におけるセッション参加をとおして富士山の関わる今日的問題に対し発言してきました。

UNWTO（United Nations World Tourism Organization）adopted GSTC-D (Global Sustainable Tourism Destination Criteria) as the criteria by GSTC(Global Sustainable Tourism Council) for sustainable tourism place.　We will propose the style and information of sustainable Mt.Fuji tourism along with GSTC-D, and support visitors to realize their visiting purpose with our utmost efforts.
For example during visit to Fujiyoshida; baggage storage and delivery to lodging place, provision of cloth change room, rental of road-bikes and mountain bikes, participation to outdoor activities such as ecological tours and kayaking, information and advice of trekking courses, introduction of local medical facilities, provision of opportunities to join various local events.

UNWTO(世界観光機関)は、持続可能な観光地としての基準GSTC（Global　Sustainable Tourism Council）を採択しています。
私たちはサイトをとおして、このGSTCに沿った持続可能な富士山観光のスタイルと情報を提案し、利用者の来訪目的が達成できるよう全力でサポートします。
