Traveling to Fukuoka this June? Don't miss this hydrangea garden 💜🌿

Hakozakigu Shrine is not only known as a powerful spiritual spot for luck and success, but also for its beautiful seasonal blooms, especially in early summer. Every June, its peaceful grounds transform with the opening of the Hydrangea Garden.

Around 3,500 hydrangeas of 100 varieties fill the space with soft blues, purples, and pinks, creating a dreamy atmosphere, especially after rainfall, when the flowers glisten and the shrine feels even more serene. It’s one of those classic Japanese early summer scenes you don’t want to miss.

Beyond the flowers, you can also collect a limited-edition hydrangea-themed goshuin stamp, making your visit even more special.
