Is Mt. Fuji difficult to climb?

Yes it is, while easier for some. For the vast majority of people it's a difficult climb.

No matter your fitness level, it's a big climb. So make sure to be well prepared.

Having the right equipment can "make or break" your Mt. Fuji climb.

The start of the climb can be hot and humid and gets progressively colder and windier as you gain elevation.

Choosing what to wear can be tough. A thin wind layer works very well but I like to bring a Primaloft layer. It's a warm layer that still lets wind through and is a perfect garment to compliment your rain gear.
