Arrived at Kitakyushu Port at 9:00 pm last night and stayed in Kokura. This morning, I headed to Hiraodai, just 30 minutes from Kokura. It’s a beautiful karst plateau covered with countless limestone formations stretching across the landscape.

For lunch, I stopped at Hirao, a popular tempura restaurant where the freshly fried tempura is both delicious and affordable. The energetic staff keep the place buzzing, and hot tempura is served right in front of you one piece after another. What a fantastic lunch — I was completely satisfied before the afternoon even started!

昨日の夜9時に北九州港へ到着し、小倉に宿泊しました。
今日は小倉から約30分の平尾台へ。石灰岩がポコポコと広がる、美しいカルスト台地です。

お昼ご飯は、揚げたての天ぷらが安くて美味しい「ひらお」へ。威勢のいい掛け声とテキパキ働く店員さんたちが、揚げたての天ぷらを次々と目の前に運んでくれます。
昼から大満足！お腹も心も満たされました。

Departed Yokosuka Port at 11:45 PM last night.
After enjoying a late-night snack, I had a great night’s sleep.

Today, I’m taking it easy with the open-air bath and sauna.
Just relaxing and enjoying the ferry journey until we arrive this evening.

Life is good… very comfortable!

昨日は23:45に横須賀港を出航。
ナイトスナックを楽しんだ後は、ぐっすり就寝。

今日は露天風呂やサウナでのんびりリラックス♨️
夜の到着まで、ゆったりと船旅を満喫しています。

Osaka’s Shinsekai district is packed with local culture and old-school atmosphere.
One of the best places for bar hopping — a drink with kushikatsu, another at a standing bar.
Even the nostalgic smart ball arcades are still here, adding to the retro charm.
Under the iconic Tsutenkaku, the streets are full of energy, laughter, and true Osaka spirit.

大阪・新世界は、大衆文化がぎゅっと詰まったエネルギッシュな街。
飲み歩きには最高の場所。串カツで一杯、立ち飲み屋でもう一杯。
昔懐かしいスマートボールで遊びながら、ディープな大阪を満喫。
町のシンボル・通天閣の下には、今日も人情と活気が溢れている。

Went for a ride to Rurikoin in Kyoto.
It’s only about 30 minutes from Kyoto Station toward Mt. Hiei, but it feels like stepping into a totally different world.

The traditional building and beautifully kept garden were so relaxing.
The green reflections on the polished tables and wooden corridors were just stunning.

The fresh green maple leaves moving in the breeze… such a beautiful time to visit.
Kyoto hits differently in this season.

京都・瑠璃光院へ。
京都駅から比叡山方面へ30分ほど。すぐなのに、別世界みたいな落ち着いた空間。

手入れの行き届いた建物と庭がとても心地よくて、
机や廊下に映り込む緑が本当にきれい。

風に揺れる青もみじが気持ちいい季節。
この時期の京都、やっぱりいいなぁ。

One of the highlights of this Hong Kong group’s Tohoku touring adventure was discovering the amazing variety of Japanese food along the way.
From local specialties that can only be enjoyed in each region, to famous signature dishes, every meal became part of the journey. They also casually dropped into popular chain restaurants for sushi and udon, enjoying Japan’s everyday food culture just like the locals.

And yes… they even gave natto a try!
Some loved it, some were surprised by its unique flavor and texture — but everyone embraced the experience with great curiosity and smiles.

Tasting Japan, one stop at a time, is all part of the adventure. 🍣🍜🏍️

今回の香港グループ東北ツアーでは、ライディングだけでなく、各地でさまざまな日本の食文化も満喫しました。
その土地でしか味わえない郷土料理や、その地方ならではの名物グルメ、そして気軽に立ち寄れるチェーン店でのお寿司やうどんまで。日本の日常の食文化も、旅の楽しみのひとつです。

さらに、なんと納豆にもチャレンジ！
独特の風味と粘りに驚きながらも、みんな興味津々で楽しんでくれました。

その土地を走り、その土地を味わう。

Hong Kong Group｜Final Day of the Tohoku Tour

Lucky us — we got to enjoy the ride we had almost given up on: the unforgettable journey up to Mt. Fuji 5th Station.

Riding along the Mt. Fuji Subaru Line with snow still remaining on both sides of the road was such a special experience. The cool mountain air, the winding road, and the excitement of finally making it there made every moment unforgettable.

When we arrived at the 5th Station, the summit of Mt. Fuji stood right before us.
For everyone, seeing Japan’s most iconic mountain up close felt like a dream come true — almost like standing on the roof of Japan.

It was the perfect way to wrap up the final day of our tour.

Before saying goodbye, we promised to meet again.
Now the question is… where shall we ride next?

香港グループ｜東北ツアー最終日

ラッキーな私たちは、半ば諦めていた富士山五合目までのライディングを楽しむことができました。

まだ雪が残る富士スバルラインを駆け上がる時間は、本当に特別。
澄んだ空気の中を走りながら、最後までワクワクが止まりません。

五合目に到着すると、目の前には間近に迫る富士山の頂上。
みんなが憧れていた富士山をこんなに近くで感じ、その感激はひとしおでした。

ツアー最終日を締めくくるのに、これ以上ない最高のフィナーレ。

「また会おう」
そう約束してお別れしました。

さて、次はどこへ走りに行きましょうか？

Day 6｜Final Day of the Tour 🏍️🗻

The final day of our tour has arrived.
Leaving Ikaho Onsen behind, we headed toward Mt. Fuji.

We had heard disappointing news that the Mt. Fuji Subaru Line had been closed due to a landslide the day before. Still, we really wanted everyone to see Mt. Fuji, so we rode all the way to Kawaguchiko at the foot of the mountain.

Mt. Fuji was hiding behind the clouds, but little by little its beautiful silhouette began to appear.
While enjoying a warm bowl of Yamanashi’s famous Hoto noodles for lunch, we suddenly received amazing news — the Mt. Fuji Subaru Line had reopened!

What incredible timing… we were so lucky. ✨

And then, the highlight of the tour began — riding up to the 5th Station of Mt. Fuji.

6日目｜いよいよツアー最終日 🏍️🗻

いよいよツアー最終日。
この日は伊香保温泉を出発し、富士山を目指します。

前日の土砂崩れの影響で、富士スバルラインが通行止めという残念な情報が入っていました。
それでも皆さんに富士山を見せたいと思い、富士山の麓・河口湖までやって来ました。

雲に隠れていた富士山も、少しずつその姿を見せてくれました。
そして山梨名物のほうとうでランチを楽しんでいると、なんと富士スバルライン開通のニュースが！

なんてラッキー。✨

いよいよツアーのハイライト、富士山五合目へ向かいます。

Day 5｜Ashinomaki Onsen → Ikaho Onsen

What a fantastic riding day!
Leaving Ashinomaki Onsen, we headed toward Nikko and enjoyed one of Japan’s most famous touring roads — the legendary Irohazaka.

With 48 winding curves through beautiful mountain scenery, this road is named after the old Japanese “iroha” alphabet of 48 characters. Riding through each sharp turn while surrounded by nature was pure fun for every rider.

After climbing about halfway up the 24 uphill curves, we stopped for lunch by the peaceful Lake Chuzenji.
Then we continued on to Ikaho Onsen in Gunma Prefecture, a historic hot spring town full of charm.

The highlight was the famous 365 stone steps of Ikaho.
Walking through the lively stone stair street lined with souvenir shops, local snacks, and nostalgic atmosphere made for a perfect evening after a great day on the bikes.

5日目｜芦ノ牧温泉 → 伊香保温泉

5日目も最高のツーリング日和！
芦ノ牧温泉を出発し、まずは日光へ。

絶景ワインディングロードとして有名な「いろは坂」を走りました。
48もの急カーブがあり、日本の“いろは48文字”になぞらえて名付けられた人気ツーリングスポット。美しい自然に囲まれながら、次々と現れるカーブをバイクで楽しみました。

登りの24カーブを越えたあたりで、中禅寺湖畔にてランチタイム。
その後は群馬県の歴史ある温泉地、伊香保温泉へ。

伊香保名物の365段の石段街を散策。
両側に並ぶお土産屋さんや昔ながらの温泉街の雰囲気を楽しみながら、ツーリング後の時間を過ごしました。

Day 4 | Naruko Onsen → Ashinomaki Onsen

After a relaxing night in Naruko Onsen, we started the day with about a one-hour ride to a small dumpling shop along the Mogami River—well-known among locals.
Fresh handmade dango topped with a variety of sweet pastes, from classic zunda (edamame) to even pistachio. Everyone picked their favorite and enjoyed every bite.

After tasting this local delight, we hopped back on our bikes and headed toward our next destination—
Yamadera.

Climbing 1,015 stone steps for a breathtaking view… totally worth it! 🏍️✨

4日目｜鳴子温泉 → 芦ノ牧温泉

鳴子温泉でゆっくり一泊した翌朝、まずはバイクで約1時間。最上川沿いにある小さな団子屋さんへ。地元では有名なお店で、昔ながらの手作り団子に、定番のずんだからピスタチオまでバラエティ豊かな餡がたっぷり乗ってます。
それぞれお気に入りを見つけて、みんなで頬張りました。

ローカルフードを楽しんだ後は、次の目的地へ。
目指すは山形の山寺。
1,015段の石段の先に待つ絶景を求めて、今日も気持ちよくバイクを走らせます！
