Inami is a fantastic day trip from Kanazawa for anyone who is interested in hands-on experiences and traditional crafts! The driving tour includes a visit to an artisan's atelier with the chance to have a close-up look at the impressive pieces. Both mother and son were equally captivated watching the lacquerware and cloth-dyeing artisans at work. Two other memorable parts of the day—though not pictured—were meeting the friendly studio dog at the second artisan studio, and enjoying a scenic lunch high above Kanazawa with our guide, Nozomi-san.
