Art Bridge on Kasaoka Islands 2016 will be held from Aug. 7 to Aug. 17.

Art Festival in Kasaoka city called "Art Bridge on Kasaoka Islands 2016" will be held from Aug. 7 at Mushima Island.

Usher tides of versatile culture from the center of Seto Inland Sea

The Kasaoka Islands are almost in the center of the Seto Inland Sea. Each island has its own long-standing tradition. Artists will stay and produce art works while immersing themselves in the life of the islands with islanders. Memories of the islands and the time axis of a routine everyday life will great people from outside and create future. New tides will be ushered from the islands.

Kasaoka, The Ramen Town!

There are over 30 shops serving ramen in Kasaoka.
Among them are ones that serve ramen with slices of boiled chicken floating on a soy sauce broth made from stock based on chicken bones. That's Kasaoka Ramen Noodles, and no place can make it like Kasaoka!

Kasaoka port festival Fireworks display

“Fireworks display” would give bright colors to the summer in Kasaoka.
It would be lively with people and stalls on the street of Kasaoka port and in front of environmental department.

In heavy weather: Carried out with light shower(postponed to 7/31 with rough weather)
