OUR LEAD ARTIST- JUNKO CHIBA

Junko Chiba is a well-respected concert violinist in Japan who began her violin studies at the age of three, as one of the 10 child protegees in Japan during her time. She graduated from Juilliard School of Music and won the Artist International Competition in New York, which was followed by her New York recital debut at the Carnegie Weill Recital Hall the following year.
She won in Tibor Varga International Violin Competition and garnered the top prize at the Taipei International Music Competition.
Junko made appearances as guest soloist with distinguished orchestras including the Pailliard Chamber Orchestra and Tokyo Solisten. In recent years, she has appeared as guest soloist with Deutsche Bach Solisten, Vienna Virtuoso, Taipei Symphony Orchestra , Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and Prague Chamber Orchestra .Equally active as a recitalist, she often performs through out of Japan.
We are honored and privileged to have her as our lead artist with her debut appearance in the Philippines musical stage with Filipino artists for the first time. Catch her in a rare performance on 18 November at La Porte Hall Miriam college for the concert entitled "We Remember and We Care! Don't miss this chance!

This concert is a tribute to commemorate the first year anniversary of Yolanda and the 60th anniversary of the Center for Applied Music ! Junko Chiba-professional concert violinist first inspection trip to the Philippines-22July to 27July, 2014. She will meet with renowned academic institutions in the Philippines to have a better understanding of the Philippines classical music industry. At the same time, Biz-M Asia will assist Junko Chiba in her first proposed concert in the Philippines in November 2014 to raise funds for the Yolanda victims, commemorating its first year anniversary.

Biz-M Asia is an events, representation and consulting firm in Tokyo established in October 2013.

The events side of the business aims to create and execute specialized projects between Japan and
Philippines to promote deeper understanding and friendship between two countries. It aims to foster deeper ties with Philippine
based established institutions willing to co-produce and partner with Biz-M Asia for its events projects.

The representation part of Biz-M Asia is focused on providing sales and marketing consulting and assistance for tourism related
industries such as hotels and travel agencies to name a few.

The consulting aspect of the business is focused on providing a platform for global linkages between Japan
and Philippines through cultural interaction and education programs. It also provides consultation support to
interested Japanese companies that are willing to venture in the Philippines for their business and training
needs.

It also provides consulting services to increase inbound international market to Japan.

Biz-M Asia is owned and managed by Mary Rose Abrogar-Tolentino. She is a mother of 3 and a permanent resident of Japan with more than 20 years of working experience in the Japan travel industry, and counting.
