Do you know the best season to eat eggs in Japan ?
The beginning of February! Why? Because it’s the coldest in a year and the numbers of days chickens lay eggs become least often. That means each eggs tastes richer than other seasons.
So we went to four hearts cafe in Kofu, one of the best restaurants for pasta carbonara ❤️ Certainly the eggs tasted the richest in a year 😋
Also we had wine-steamed mussels and soup from mussels was too good to waste. We asked if they can make something with this soup and
Voilà !
The risotto that you can’t expect better than this!
So glad we came to this restaurant in the coldest day!

It’s a rare chance to experience the dish from the cook who was one of the chef to serve at the princess Anne’s dinner party, don’t you think?
Today he has real fish & chips so I came his cafe by bike even though it is freezingly cold🥶 I’m glad I didn’t miss it. #本物 #甲府

Mt Fuji now

Today Nov.16 Sunday is the last day of such a beautiful light up all hand made out of bamboo at Yamanakako near Mt. Fuji. So glad I could get to see them.
