Ainu theater Ikor has been closed due to the spread of Covid-19.
Starting 4/1, the theater has reopened and performance will restart.
*Evening shows are only available between 4/1~4/28

Welcome winter!
Lake Akan start getting icy.
You may see some stunning landscapes and natural phenomena such as ice bubbles and frost flowers.
Please watch out that the ice is still starting to grow and is thin.
It is very dangerous to walk on the ice.

(Photos such as ice bubbles and frost flowers posted from our association are taken by the staff from a safe place.)

We recommend to join the local tours to enjoy the ice walking and other activities at Lake Akan.
