天気が突然雨になる日が続いた今週、気付けばお盆が終わってしまいました。お盆とは、日本で夏季に行われる祖先の霊を祀る行事です✋🏻

昨日行われていた大文字焼きは、お盆に帰ってきたご先祖様の霊をあの世へ送り届けるための送り火です！

This week saw a string of sudden rainy days, and before we knew it, Obon was over. Obon is a summer event held in Japan to honor the spirits of ancestors✋🏻
The Daimonji bonfire that took place yesterday is a farewell bonfire to send the spirits of ancestors who have returned for Obon to the afterlife.

There are lots of events happening in Kyoto this summer, including the Mitarai River Foot-Soaking Lantern Ceremony and the Gojo Wakamiya Pottery Festival, which are currently underway. 🏮🏮

最近のメッセージボードは沢山のイラストが描かれていて賑やかでした🤚🏻🤚🏻
京都では7月1日-7月31日まで祇園祭が行われていますが、その中でも本日7月15日と明日の16日は夜は四条河原町エリアが綺麗な鉾や屋台で賑わう日です！🏮
また下鴨神社でも、みたらし祭りが7月18日〜27日まで開催されます！🏮
ベンズゲストハウスに宿泊されている方はぜひ立ち寄って見てください🙃🙃

The Gion Festival is held in Kyoto from July 1st to July 31st, but today, July 15th, and tomorrow, July 16th, the Shijo Kawaramachi area will be bustling with beautiful floats and food stalls at night! 🏮
The Mitarashi Festival will also be held at Shimogamo Shrine from July 18th to 27th! 🏮

今週はメッセージを描いてくださるお客様沢山いてメッセージボードが賑やかでした👍🏻👍🏻
特に日本アニメのキャラクターを描いていたり、ちいかわを知っているお客様もいてびっくりです😂
今日紹介するのは『串焼き　満天』
野菜・肉・海鮮など日本の食材から厳選された串焼きは絶品です‼︎
ビールや日本酒も共に楽しめる居酒屋です🏮

This week, many customers drew messages and the message board was lively👍🏻👍🏻
I was particularly surprised to see some customers drawing Japanese anime characters and even knowing Chiikawa😂

Today, I'd like to introduce "Kushiyaki Manten"
The skewers, made with carefully selected Japanese ingredients such as vegetables, meat, and seafood, are delicious‼︎
It's an izakaya where you can enjoy both beer and sake🏮

抹茶のスイーツやカフェ、お土産などを楽しめる創業1854年の老舗です。

ゴールデンウィーク中に四条河原町に寄ってみたのですが、大通りが人で溢れかえっていました😐
どこの観光名所も混みあっていそうですが、皆さん楽しい観光ができるように祈っています👍🏿

I stopped by Shijo Kawaramachi during Golden Week, and the main street was packed with people again 😐
All the famous sightseeing spots seem to be crowded, but you are here to make sure everyone has a fun time 👍🏿
