Tusbaki Matsuri (Cameria Festival)

Tsubaki Matsuri is one of the most famous festivals In Matsuyama. Tusbaki-jinja is a popular spot to pray for business success. During the festival, there are various food stalls on both sides of the approach to the shrine. After you pray for good luck, you can enjoy local food at the food stalls.
★Date: February 14th to 16th
★Place: Tsubaki-Jinja shrine (It is located on Route 33)
★Access: There is a special shuttle bus service from JR Matsuyama station, Iyotetsu Matsuyama Shieki and Kawara-machi, every ten minutes during the festival.

“Konamon Summit 2016 in Mitsuhama”
Konamon means something made of powder or flour such as okonomiyaki, noodles, pizza, and etc. All dishes are within 500 yen. You can eat a lot of Konamon and get a chance to vote for the No.1 Konamon of 2016.

Ehime Marathon will be held at 10:00am on Feb.7th.
A starting point is in front of Ehime Prefectural Office Building.
About 10000 participants will join the full marathon. Limit time is within 6 hours.

Indonesian Sports Meet
On October 18, the Indonesian Sports Meet was held at Ehime University, under the clear Autumn sky. There were three kinds of sports competitions such as futsal, table tennis and badminton, and our EIS members joined a futsal game.
At first, participants took part in a popular line dance from Indonesia’s “Poco-Poco” as a warming up exercise.
Then, the games began in a tournament. The game was intended for our mature enough-EIS team versus a young enough international student’s team. At the game, we scored the opening goal from the opponent of the international student team! Every member fought valiantly until the end of the game. Unfortunately, we lost it. The members did their best even though they didn’t have enough time to practice.
They had a good day for playing sports!!

Yuru-Cahra Grand Prix 2015 by internet voting is held from August 17th to November 16th.
Our Yuru-Chara "Mikyan" is taking part in this Grand-Prix, aiming for the first place.
