Japanese restaurants have appeared worldwide, allowing people of all cultures to experience Japanese food, the ingredients used in it, and the culture it encompasses. The components of "Japanese food" have been carefully cultivated throughout Japan's long history, resulting in a rich, diverse food cultu

re encompassing not only unique flavors, but intricate cooking techniques and great aesthetic qualities. Sharing that asset can make an immense contribution to the richness and diversity of food cultures worldwide. The Organization to Promote Japanese Restaurants Abroad (JRO) has been established as a government-incorporated not-for-profit organization responsible for substantiating an effort to issue supports to Japanese restaurants overseas.
