I´m Gizem, German with Turkish roots, married to a Japanese and have been living in Tokyo for 6 years. I am a passionate eater a
nd love traveling, languages and people! I am enthusiastic about food and love to take challenges anywhere I go. I believe that food plays a big part in every culture and it is clearly more than a necessity! Anthony Bourdain is my spirit animal. Other things I am passionate about are Rock music (especially) Metal, concerts, gaming and mingling with locals. I would love to share my insider knowledge of Tokyo and life in Japan during a Foodie Tour with you. Let's walk the rather unknown backstreets of Tokyo, eat where locals eat and drink what locals drink! Worrying about language problems? I got you covered. About Foodie Tours:
1) All tours are available in English and German! (more languages upon request)
2) NO Standard tours! All my tours are made to measure. The goal is to make them fit perfectly into your sightseeing schedule, taking into account dietary and personal requirements. Currently we are working on Gluten Free and Vegetarian tours, message me if any of this is of interest :)
3) We will be covering one neighborhood of Tokyo in depth, in a 3-4 hour walking tour. The tours include local delicacies and a unique and memorable experience you will only have in Tokyo! There are daytime and night tour options. Please state preferences and number of tour participants in your contact mail. Thanks!
