Kagura just had its first big snowfall of the season — a huge 50–60 cm dump yesterday, and another one is coming on Friday! 🙌⛷️🏂

We’ve been chatting with a few of you recently about the growing interest in Myoko, and look what we found here!

According to a recent article, Myoko’s snowy highlands are set to become the home of a $1.4 billion mega-resort three winters from now, backed by a Singaporean fund. The resort will feature luxury hotels with nightly rates around $1,350. 🏨💸

This confirms what we’ve all been suspecting—Myoko is definitely on the radar of international investors! With its legendary powder snow and stunning scenery, it’s no surprise that more attention is being drawn to this hidden gem. 🌨️❄️

A recent news article highlights what many of us have already noticed—Niseko has become more expensive than ever. With a record number of overseas visitors flooding the resort, prices for food, accommodation, and services have skyrocketed, making it harder than ever to enjoy Niseko on a budget.

This is exactly why we’ve stopped running trips to Niseko. The costs keep rising, and we simply can’t offer an affordable trip there anymore. While Niseko remains an incredible destination, we believe there are better-value resorts across Japan where you can still enjoy world-class snow without breaking the bank.
