🎉 Japan tops The Travel & Tourism Development Index (TTDI) 2021 in the world for its first time. 👍
TTDI is an evolution of the 15-year-old Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI) series which is a flagship index developed by the World Economic Forum (WEF) that published for every 2 years. The index is generated by assessing 117 indicators such as environment, infrastructure, sustainability for 117 countries in the world.
Japan has grabbed the first place for its high scores on transport infrastructure and cultural resources, etc. Although the world tourist is affected by COVID-19, the superiority of different aspects of Japan gained higher evaluation over other countries.
