We learnt a lot at the Mizkan Natto factory in Minokamo City - I was surprised, but our guests from Dubbo loved it. Maybe we should start selling Natto in Australia?

Did you know that Minokamo has a 30-year-old sister city relationship with Dubbo, Australia? We celebrated by putting Mayor Shields and Mayor Ito on a palanquin and parading them through the town on our Autumn Onsai Festival.

O'carré is home to a male geisha (‘houkan’) named Tatsuji, one of only eight in all of Japan! He serves the finest tea and sweets. This store is famous for a shaved ice dessert called Kaki’goori. It’s so popular and exclusive that you must book in advance!
