Take advantage of this once in a lifetime experience to climb the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776 meters. Mt. Fuji is an active volcano about 100 kilometers southwest of Tokyo. The summit of Mt. Fuji is breath taking. There you can find shrines, restaurants, gift shops, and more. Most interestingly, you can also find a functioning post office from where you can send postcards to your loved ones letting them know that you have reached the summit! You'll have 12 hours to climb up to the summit from the fifth station of Mt. Fuji and back down. You also get one full day in Tokyo to explore on your own.
