⛩️✨ “Yatagarasu Shrine” in Uda City, Nara Prefecture—A Sanctuary for Guidance 🐦‍⬛

This venerable shrine is said to be the first in Japan named “Yatagarasu.” Its history dates back to 705. Enshrined here is “Yatagarasu-Okami,” the three-legged crow deity who guided Emperor Jimmu to victory. The shrine is known for victory, warding off evil, traffic safety, and fulfilling wishes.

While “Yatagarasu” may remind some of you of anime or games, it is also the symbol of the Japan Football Association. Guess what? You’ll find a statue of the mythical crow balancing a football on its head right here on the grounds! ⚽️

With the World Cup this year and the national team squad announced, this is the place to visit for a “must-win” moment or when you’re at a crossroads in life🔥

Mukoji Lily of the Valley Community in Uda City, Nara

Designated as a National Natural Monument, this sanctuary is home to the native Japanese Lily of the Valley. These delicate white bells bloom quietly, tucked away beneath their lush green leaves. Their peak season begins in mid-May.
