The Nagoya TV Tower will finally have its Grand Opening!
The renovation work of the TV Tower began last year in January, but due to the new COVID-19 and the "State of emergency", the opening date had to be delayed by more than 2 months.
In June 30th, the reopening of the TV Tower was announced in a press conference.
The "MIRAI TOWER" will open on September 18th. It will be composed of 9 shops, from restaurants, coffee shops to hotel. LED lights will be used to illuminate the tower, allowing it to change the colors of the lights depending on the season.
The logo will also be changed. The colors represent the blue sky and the silver tower. As its "Mirai concept" implies, it will become the symbol of the past and the future of the city.
During the meantime, preventive measures against the coronavirus will be taken to ensure safety.
