Hiiii!!! We guided sweet family from America 🇺🇸✨
We visited Kofukuji temple, Todaiji temple, Himuro shrine and Yoshiki garden🌟

It was a first time for them to come to Japan 🇯🇵
They travelled from America to India(stay few weeks) and to Japan! Such a great trip!!
We talked about Indian traditions , differences of cultures between India,America and Japan, their hometown… a lot!😂
I’m watching series “Never have I ever” which has Indian story in the episode, and actually they also watched it!
We could share our opinions about it 🔥🔥

Thank you so much for coming to Nara and have a wonderful trip🌟🌟🌟

Hello!
Today I had the chance to guide two wonderful families from Colombia🇨🇴.

I guided Todaiji-temple.
It was my first time guiding in English, so I was very nervous…
but they were so kind and warm.

It was their first time in Japan, and they’re here for just 7 days —but visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and more!
What an amazing and meaningful trip 🌸

They asked great questions like:
“In Thailand, Buddhas lie down. Why is Japan’s sitting?”
It helped me see things in a new way and learn more deeply, too!

Thank you so much for listening so attentively 🧡
Wishing you a wonderful rest of your time in Japan!

And next time — come back with your wife and sons too 😊✨

¡Muchas gracias y que disfruten Japón!

Last Saturday, I guided a group of students from the United States around Nara.
Although it was hot, everyone seemed to enjoy their time and made the most of the experience.
The ume-kombu (plum-flavored kelp) snacks we brought were surprisingly popular—even though some Japanese people don't like, which really surprised me.

Before entering Todai-ji Temple,
we taught them the proper way to purify their hands and mouth, but one student accidentally drank the water, which was quite amusing.
Still, it was a wonderful time for everyone to learn about Japanese culture together.
Please come visit Nara again sometime.🦌
Thank you!

Hi! Today, I guided two families at Todaiji temple. Both families started talking to me as soon as I showed a guide-board😳

The first family was from Tokyo🗼 The husband is American, and his wife is Japanese. It was difficult to explain things in English while sometimes switching to Japanese💦
Second family has a keen interest in Todaiji temple. They listened to me and ask a lot of questions. Through this guide, I was got noticed that we could see the Great Budda's face from the window in the replica of Great Budda's hall!

💌🪽Thank you for coming to Nara on a so hot day☀️ Have a noce trip ♪

Hi 👋
I guided my friend from Korea 🇰🇷
We went Kofukuji temple and naramachi.
She was so kind and friendly.
We enjoyed seeing deer 🦌 .
I was surprised that she got along with deer soon. The deer is fond of her. We talked a lot of things and enjoyed some food. Kinako mochi was so sweet and delicious 🤤 and udon was good too 🤤
Moreover her Japanese was very good. She studied Japanese using anime. Her favorite anime is Detective Conan 👓
I love same one too.
So we talked about it.

Thank you so much for coming Nara and taking a lot. Have a great trip in Japan 🇯🇵!!☺️

Hi! I guided tourists from Kentucky, USA 🇺🇸
We went Todaiji temple, Kofukuji temple, Kasugataisha shrine and Yoshikien garden. They are lovely family. Actually, daughter likes to gather Goshuin (stamp of a temple). Already she got many stamps all over Japan.
Each stamp was different and very beautiful ☺️
I was interested in Goshuin and I wanted to do too.
And we enjoyed seeing deer 🦌
Some deer were with their baby. They were so cute 🥰
Moreover, we had udon for lunch. It was delicious 🤤

Thank you so much for coming Nara and taking a lot. Have a great trip in Japan 🇯🇵!!☺️

I guided a nice family from America🇺🇸

The kids just graduated this year, and they came to Japan to celebrate. Congratulations👏

They were very excited to feed deer🦌
They had seen videos showing that if you don't hide deer crackers right after buying them, the deer will come after you — so I thought they were really well-prepared!

We were lucky enough to see a few baby deer for the first time this year! They were absolutely adorable and walked behind their mom🥰

I heard the interesting thing about the graduation celemony. In Japan, we just wear school uniform and a few people bought a bouquet of flowers. But in America, they made neckless with their school's color. The neckless her mother made really suits her daughter🥰
Also, the son was wearing a necklace made of Pokémon cards. It was an interesting custom we don’t have😂

We talked a lot about our nationarity and k-pop🫶 too!
It was great time!

I hope you have a great trip in Japan🇯🇵
Thanks!

Hi there! I offered a tour for professors and students from university of Arizona and university of Hawai🇺🇸 I had really good time with them.

First, we visited Kasugataisha shrine. This shrine has something to do with ancient Japanese myths. Next we visited Todaiji, which is one of the most famous places in Japan. We saw baby deer luckily, and he/she is soooo adorable🥰

After visiting temples and shrines, and on-their-own lunch, we did Furoshiki activities in Naramachi area. Furoshiki is the traditional Japanese cloth, and you can create bags and bottle holders. We made bottle holders today.

Today’s schedule is a little bit packed, but I hope they enjoyed the tour! Have a safe trip!

Hi! Yesterday, I guided a duo from America who were close friends.
Unfortunately, it was raining, but the rain actually enhanced the mood at the shrine ☔︎
We ate somen noodles and Kakinoha-zushi,both specialties of Nara.
I was a bit worried at first since even some Japanese don’t like this type of sushi-but they enjoyed it so much!
I hope more tourists get to know about the unique specialities of Nara.
We also had a great time talking about movies we both like.
Thank you so much for coming to Nara 🥹

Hi! Today, I guided friendly families from India🇮🇳✨
We visited Nara Park and Todaiji temple, and then we had lunch.

Our encounter was by chance, but they all enjoyed with a smile😆
There were more deer today and the children were so excited. They were very lovely💞 When I said to a boy “if you show your palm, deer stops attacking.”, a boy did hardly🖐🏻🦌

A boy said “I was looking forward to seeing you.” after separate action. A girl said “Were you going already?” on the way home. We become friends🥰 But, children often translate their father’s message for me. I have to study harder💦

💌🪽 I’m happy that we enjoyed sightseeing in Nara together! Although we become friends, you rely on me, so I am glad and confident! I love you~🫶🏻

Hi there! I guided a kind family from the US🇺🇸
We went to Kofukuji Temple, Yoshikien Garden, and Todaiji Temple.

It was raining in the morning, but it wasn't during the tour in the afternoon. I was relieved.
We enjoyed the mosses in the garden shining after the rain🌿✨

After going to Nigatsudo Hall of Todaiji Temple, we walked the calm street with Japanese wall and houses. It was calm and good atmosphere. I was happy they liked that a lot, and I enjoyed it a lot as well because I don't often walk that street.

They were interested in Japanese cultures a lot and listened to me carefully^^
Thank you for the wonderful moment☺️
