Do you enjoy Sake?
A special 🍶Tochigi sake tasting set arrived from Tochigi Prefecture!
Tochigi is perhaps best known for Nikko, Nasu, strawberries and gyoza, but there’s another side of Tochigi that’s well worth discovering when you visit, local sake.✨
The set included five different bottles from breweries across Tochigi,
🍶 Tentaka Shuzo – “Tentaka Kokoro”
🍶 Utsunomiya Shuzo – “Shikizakura”
🍶 Sohomare Sake Brewery – “Sohomare”
🍶 Nishibori Shuzo – “Mongai Fushutsu”
🍶 Daiichi Shuzo – “Kaika”
We decided to put some food on the table, open all five, and taste them together!
Even though they’re all made here in Tochigi, each one has its own character. Part of the fun is comparing them and talking about which one you like best, or which sake goes particularly well with a certain dish. 😊
So, if you’re planning a trip to Japan, don’t just think of Tochigi for Nikko, Nasu, strawberries and gyoza. Be sure to try some of our local sake too! 🍶
