Unbeaten Japan Nature Tours
Obon expedition* to Niyodo Blue in Kochi on Shikoku.

*Because this is an expedition tour, meaning it’s our first time to visit, the participation fee is heavily discounted. We will take our time exploring the area together, and experience it all with just an outline plan of where we’ll go.

Duration:
6 nites maximum
4 nites minimum

Dates:
10th Sat 3pm = earliest departure (from Hagoromo station)
16th Fri 4pm = latest return

Depending on the schedules of the participants,
it is possible to depart a bit later, possibly even 1 day later (ie, Sun 11th).
Likewise, it is possible to return a bit earlier, even 1 day earlier (ie, Thu 15th).

Accommodation = camping in tents, of course!
Unbeaten Japan prepares everything for comfortable camping & sleeping.

Destination = NIYODO BLUE in Kochi, at least 3 separate places & then other places in between & around the area.

Everywhere in Kochi & just about everywhere on Shikoku island is difficult to access without a vehicle. This is your chance to join us as we explore together a few of the prime spots for THE cleanest water in the country.

We are in fact a Japan-based foreigner owned & operated fully licensed travel agent / tour & experience developer.

Off the beaten paths…
The focus is on Nature Tours, and there's no other such agency in Japan. No one even comes close. We are Unbeaten at getting onto the unbeaten paths of this country.

On the well-worn paths…
Of course we can guide you to the popular destinations as well — we all know what those places are (and how over-tourism is potentially wrecking some of them…).

We're Unbeaten…
Even with that service, we're far superior to any other such service simply because we've been here over 33yrs & have been doing this almost the entire time. We literally know the lay of the land better than native Japanese, let alone any nonJapanese. In fact, the majority of our tours are domestic tours.


Property purchase…
Lesser known, however, is that we're also one your safest bets for real estate purchases in the greater Kansai area (Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nara, Wakayama, etc.) & western Japan.

Another you…
Especially if for any reason you're not actually in country yet, we can be your eyes & ears & mouth — your liaison — with real estate agents & owners.
Interpreting & translation are a given, but also video tours of potential properties, arrangement of inspections, processing of paperwork etc.

Acting on your behalf…
And, once you find a property, if for any reason you're unable to actually be present at the deal, we can act as a legal proxy for you, handling everything as if you were here doing it yourself.

Trust…
Many folks don't know that travel services here in Japan are different corporate entities than normal companies. We're all bonded with the local govt, handing over an enormous amount of cash to be kept as a safety net were anything to go wrong.

Getting it done…
Therefore when it comes to the financials of the property purchase, you can't go wrong with a travel company. Personally, I wouldn't trust anyone else with the transfer of funds, for example — and for obvious reasons real estate agents are prohibited from providing that service.
