A special one-night-only fireworks event, "OSAKA BAY SKYLUMINA FIREWORKS & DRONES", will be held on 6 June at Maishima Sports Island (Konohana-ku, Osaka). Enjoy a spectacular show featuring 10,000 fireworks launched in sync with music, alongside 2,000 drones.

The venue is the bay area adjacent to Yumeshima, the site of the Osaka-Kansai Expo. The show brings together a powerful duo who enlivened the Expo: a select team of pyrotechnicians led by Katsuragi Enka, and Red Cliff, which produces one of the largest drone shows in Japan.

The fireworks show begins with an "Opening Drone Show" themed on life and the sea, followed by a "Simultaneous Performance" of drone art and music-driven fireworks, a "Music Fireworks Show" where the night sky transforms into a giant screen with perfect synchronization of fireworks and music, an "Ending Drone Show" themed on the future, and a "Grand Finale" featuring a wide-view performance of fireworks and drones.

Furthermore, the launch of an extra-large "No. 8" firework, a rare sight in Osaka city, and a special performance featuring a giant "Myaku Myaku" drawn by a drone are also highlights.

In addition, there will be approximately 30 food trucks at the venue, where you can enjoy gourmet food from various countries.

会場は、『大阪・関西万博』の開催地・夢洲に隣接するベイエリア。「葛城煙火」率いる選抜花火師チームと、国内最大級のドローンショーを手がける「レッドクリフ」という万博を盛り上げた最強タッグが再結集する。

花火ショーは、生命や海をテーマにした『オープニング・ドローンショー』から始まり、ドローンアート×音楽花火の『同時演出』、花火と音楽の完全シンクロで夜空が巨大スクリーンに変わる『ミュージック花火ショー』、未来をテーマにした『エンディング・ドローンショー』、花火×ドローンによるワイドビュー演出『グランドフィナーレ』で構成される。

さらに、大阪市内では珍しい特大サイズ「8号玉」の打ち上げや、ドローンで巨大な「ミャクミャク」を描く特別演出も見どころだ。

また、会場にはキッチンカー約30店舗も並び、各国のグルメも楽しめる。

■観覧チケット情報

観覧は全席有料で、無料エリアはなし。チケットは「A自由席」（大人8800円・子ども6600円）から「VIPシート」（5万7000円／2名〜）まで全8種。

当日は公共交通機関の増便や臨時便の運行予定はなく混雑が予想されるため、観覧チケットと併せて「交通チケット」の購入も推奨されている。

各種チケットは「チケットぴあ」「tabiwaトラベル」などの主要プレイガイドのほか、旅行予約・レジャーサイトなどで販売中（販売サイトによって取り扱い券種が異なる）。

『OSAKA BAY SKYLUMINA FIREWORKS ＆ DRONES』は6月6日・19時スタート予定（開場は13時）。会場は「舞洲スポーツアイランド」空の広場。

■Viewing Ticket Information

All seats are paid admission, and there are no free areas. There are eight types of tickets, from "A General Admission" (8,800 yen for adults, 6,600 yen for children) to "VIP Seats" (57,000 yen / for 2 or more people).

There are no plans for additional public transportation services on the day, and congestion is expected, so purchasing a "transportation ticket" in addition to your viewing ticket is recommended.

Various tickets are on sale at major ticket agencies such as "Ticket Pia " and "Tabiwa Travel," as well as on travel booking and leisure websites (the types of tickets available vary depending on the sales site).

An event held last year at "LUCUA Osaka," in the same building, brought together people interested in or seeking to participate in the Osaka-Kansai Expo, as well as "VERY THAI," an event focused on Thailand. This first instalment will be themed around "Chiang Mai," a city in northern Thailand.

Thai food and drinks, as well as miscellaneous goods and vintage clothing purchased locally in Thailand, will be sold at the venue. Eleven shops will participate, including "Kunteep," a Thai government-certified restaurant that had a booth at the Osaka-Kansai Expo; "Rice meals FOTAN," which will serve Chinese congee with a Chiang Mai twist; "Coffee and Goods Sumika," which will sell embroidered fabrics by the Hmong ethnic minority; and "Pescatarian," which will sell T-shirts with fishing-themed designs.

On stage, there will be performances by artists from Chiang Mai, screenings of Thai short films and documentaries, and talk shows. Performers include radio DJ Komaki Doi and DJ unit "Bo-Pen Nyans" (both on the 5th), and Yasuharu Nishio (on the 6th), who moved to Thailand in 2011 and runs a blog and YouTube channel promoting Thailand's charms.

The event will be held from 5pm to 10pm (from 12pm on the 6th). It will be held rain or shine, but will be cancelled in case of severe weather. Admission is free.

　昨年、同ビル内の「ルクア大阪」で開催した大阪・関西万博に興味がある人や参加したい人が集まるイベント「EXPO（エキスポ）酒場」やタイに焦点を当てたイベント「VERY THAI（ベリー・タイ）」を引き継いで開く同イベント。第1弾となる今回は、タイ北部の都市「チェンマイ」をテーマに据える。

　会場では、タイ料理やドリンク、タイ現地で買い付けられた雑貨や古着を販売。大阪・関西万博に出店したタイ王国政府認定レストラン「クンテープ」、チェンマイ風にアレンジした中華がゆを提供する「Rice meals FOTAN（ライス・ミール・フォータン）」、少数民族のモン族による刺しゅう布を扱う「珈琲（コーヒー）と雑貨スミカ」、釣りにちなんだ絵柄のTシャツを扱う「ペスカタリアン」など11店が出店する。

　ステージでは、チェンマイ出身のアーティストによる演奏、タイ短編映画・ドキュメンタリー映像の上映、トークショーなどを繰り広げる。出演者は、ラジオDJの土井コマキさん、DJユニット「ぼーぺんにゃんず」（以上5日）、2011年にタイに移住し、タイの魅力を発信するブログやユーチューブチャンネルを運営する西尾康晴さん（6日）など。

　開催時間は17時～22時（6日は12時から）。雨天決行・荒天中止。入場無料。

ベルギービールを野外で飲めるイベント『ベルギービールウィークエンド2026』が、5月27日から5日間、「中之島公園」（大阪市北区）で開催される。

The "Belgian Beer Weekend 2026," an event where you can drink Belgian beer outdoors, will be held at Nakanoshima Park (Kita-ku, Osaka) for five days starting May 27th.

First held in Japan in 2010, this is one of Japan's leading beer events, attracting more than 1.8 million visitors in 16 years. This year, it is scheduled to be held in six locations across Japan, including Tokyo, Nagoya, and the Kansai region.

Visitors who attended the Tokyo Hibiya venue in April posted on social media, "The weather was great, it was fantastic," "The weather was perfect for drinking outside," and "The beer and potatoes were incredibly delicious," showing their great satisfaction.

74 types of Belgian beer will be available at the Osaka venue. These include "Pilsner," which accounts for 70% of Belgium's beer consumption , and "fruit beers" that condense the sweetness of fruits such as cherries and raspberries. "Food and drink coins" sold at the venue will be used to purchase beer. Two types of sets are available: a "quick drink set" for 8 coins (2840 yen) and a "starter set" for 13 coins (3990 yen). Beer can be enjoyed for 4 to 6 coins. In addition, there is a wide selection of food items, with approximately 30 different options. These include "frites" (2 to 4 coins), the fries that caused long lines at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, as well as "mussels steamed in Belgian beer" (4 coins) and "Liège waffles" (4 coins).

4月の東京・日比谷会場に訪れた来場客からは、SNSで「天気も良くて最高だった」「外飲みに心地よい気候でした」「ビールもポテトもめちゃくちゃ美味しかった」と投稿され、大満足の様子が見受けられた。

大阪会場では、74種類のベルギービールが登場。ベルギーのビール消費量のうち70％を占める「ピルスナー」や、チェリーや木苺などフルーツの甘みを凝縮した「フルーツ・ビール」が並ぶ。

ビールの購入には、会場内で販売される「飲食用コイン」を使用する。コイン8枚の「ちょい飲みセット」（2840円）、13枚の「スターターセット」（3990円）の2種類が販売され、ビールはコイン4〜6枚で飲むことができる。

　This year marks the 40th edition of the fair, and it will focus on "Southern Italy," with approximately 90 shops selling food, sweets, and miscellaneous goods. At the event hall, the restaurant "Antichi Sapori " will offer Puglia regional cuisine for dine-in.

The menu will include "Tiella" (3,850 yen), which is made by layering mushrooms and lamb and baking it in the oven, and " Orecchiette " (3,300 yen), a pasta characterised by its round shape with a depression in the centre. At "Blissful Pasta Bar," chefs from Italian restaurants located throughout Japan offer a daily changing set of pasta and appetisers (2,750 yen). For sweets, they sell a set of Granita, a frozen dessert originating from Sicily, and brioche from "Pasticceria Santo Musumeci" (200 servings per day, 1,501 yen), gelato made with raw pistachios from Pronte by "Da Roma" (1,320 yen), and a set of Pasta di Mandorla, a Sicilian baked good made with almonds and honey, and espresso from "Michela d'Oro" (990 yen). For wine, they offer Planeta, a white wine from Sicily (7,480 yen), and Colle al Vento, a red wine from Puglia (4,180 yen), among others.

At the festival square, Andrea Pansa, a sweets shop making its first appearance in Japan, will be offering a cake made with Amalfi lemons (1,650 yen) for eat-in. Other goods for sale include a postcard set by Palermo-born artist Maria Francesca Starabba (3,190 yen) and a "Segmenta Mini Bag" (70,400 yen) from the handmade, genuine leather bag brand Spazio If. The event will be held from 10:00 to 20:00 (until 17:00 on the last day) until May 25th.

The venue will offer a wide selection of hearty dishes, including "Kuroge Wagyu Aburi Meat Sushi," where the thickness has been carefully researched to achieve a perfect balance of rice and meat; " Roast Beef " made with Hokkaido beef; "Beef Rare Cutlet" made with carefully selected meat that has a good balance of lean meat and Wagyu fat; and "Butcher's Chunky Minced Meat Cutlet" served with demi-glace sauce.

約2年ぶりの開催となる同イベント。会場では、シャリと肉のバランスを考えて厚みを研究した「黒毛和牛炙り肉寿司」をはじめ、北海道産牛の「ローストビーフ」、赤身と和牛脂のバランスが良い肉を厳選した「牛レアカツ」、そしてデミグラスソースで食べる「肉屋のゴロゴロメンチカツ」などガッツリメニューが勢揃い。

大阪・枚方「くらわんか花火」が5年連続開催へ、昨年は初のディズニードロンショー実施…今年は？

The "Suito Kurawanka Fireworks Festival" will be held on September 20th at the Yodogawa River Park (Hirakata and Otsuka districts) in Hirakata City, Osaka. In addition to the number of births in Hirakata, Takatsuki, and Katano cities from the previous year, fireworks will also be launched in memory of those who have passed away, for a total of 4,877 fireworks (4,777 births + 100 memorial fireworks) lighting up the night sky.

Until 20 years ago, Hirakata City held a fireworks festival under the name "Kurawanka Fireworks Festival," but it was cancelled in 2003 due to financial difficulties. After approximately eight years of preparation, the event was revived in 2022 under the name "Suito Kurawanka Fireworks Festival," solely through private support, including crowdfunding and volunteer staff.

At the 2025 event, a "Tokyo Disney Resort Special Drone Show" was held for the first time before the fireworks display. A total of approximately 1,500 drones took to the skies simultaneously, creating a 15-minute show that painted Disney characters across the night sky. The event attracted a large crowd, with a record-breaking attendance of approximately 300,000 people.

The official website announced, "The Suito Kurawanka Fireworks Festival has always cherished the idea of launching as many fireworks as there are children born in the region, and has continued its journey as a fireworks display that reflects the 'life' and 'prayers' of the region into the night sky. This year, in addition to fireworks, we will deliver a special night that will remain in the hearts of the people of the region, along with a drone show." The event will be held on September 20th, with the fireworks scheduled to begin at 7:10 PM (details regarding paid seating and other information will be announced later). More than 100 food and beverage stalls will also be set up at the venue.

枚方市では20年前まで『くらわんか花火大会』というイベント名で花火大会がおこなわれていたが、2003年に財政難などから中止に。約8年の準備期間を経て、クラウドファンディングや当日スタッフのボランティアなど、民間からの支援のみで『水都くらわんか花火大会』と名を変え、2022年に復活を果たした同イベント。

2025年開催時には花火の打ち上げ前に、「東京ディズニーリゾート・スペシャルドローンショー」が初開催された。総計約1500機のドローンが一斉に飛び立ち、ディズニーキャラクターを夜空に大きく描いた約15分間のショーに多くの人が押し寄せ、来場者数は約30万人と過去最多となった。

公式サイトでは、「水都くらわんか花火大会は、地域で生まれた子どもの数だけ花火を打ち上げるという想いを大切にしながら、地域の「いのち」と「祈り」を夜空に映す花火大会として歩みを重ねてまいりました。今年も花火に加え、ドローンショーとともに、地域の皆様の心に残る特別な一夜をお届けいたします」と発表されている。

An exhibition of the works of Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí, titled "NAKED meets Gaudí," will be held from April 17th at "VS." (V.S.), a venue located within " Grand Green Osaka " in Umeda, Osaka (Kita-ku, Osaka). The exhibition will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Gaudí's architecture through exhibits being shown for the first time in the world and interactive content.

■ The "Gaudí Exhibition," which attracted 170,000 visitors, is coming to Osaka. This exhibition is being held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Gaudí's death and the completion of the "Tower of Jesus," the main tower of the " Sagrada Familia ."

The Tokyo venue, which opened in January of this year, attracted a total of 170,000 visitors. The venue is divided into seven areas, and Area 2, "Forest of Memories," introduces Gaudí's childhood, which nurtured his sensibilities, and architectural structures inspired by nature, such as cypress trees and beehives. You can trace how Gaudí created impressive buildings such as "Bellesguard" and "Casa Calveto."

Furthermore, there are world-first exhibits such as the original design plans for the "Sagrada Familia" and previously unpublished pages from Gaudí's manuscripts, making these rare and valuable materials a must-see.

■ Experience booths where you can touch Gaudí's architecture with videos and models This exhibition is a paradise for architecture lovers, with plenty of exhibits that you can actually touch and view structures up close, such as a replica of a Casa Calveto chair that you can sit in and experience the comfort of, and an object of the catenary arch structure that Gaudí incorporated into his buildings.

In addition, Area 4, "Workshop of Discovery," recreates Gaudí's studio. In addition to a booth where you can experience "natural forces" such as gravity and balance that Gaudí focused on, there is also an experience booth where visitors can manipulate a digital "funicular model" and project buildings reminiscent of Gaudí's designs onto a screen. You can save images by scanning the QR code , making it a nice memento of your visit to the exhibition.

Furthermore, in Area 6, "The Eternal Cathedral," the exhibition traces the history of the Sagrada Familia, an unfinished cathedral whose construction has continued for over 100 years, from its birth to the present day, through dynamic video, sound, and presentation. While the Tokyo venue projected the images onto a wall approximately 4 meters high, the Osaka venue has increased the size to approximately 10 meters. You can immerse yourself in a more expansive and immersive world.

The "NAKED meets Gaudí Exhibition" runs from April 17th to June 15th. スペイン出身の建築家、アントニ・ガウディの展覧会『NAKED meets ガウディ展』が、4月17日より梅田の「グラングリーン大阪」内にある会場「VS.（ヴイエス）」（大阪市北区）にて開催。同展では、世界初公開となる展示物や体験型コンテンツを通じて、ガウディが手掛けた建築物の世界に浸ることができる。

■ 17万人動員の「ガウディ展」が大阪に

ガウディ没後100年、そして「サグラダ・ファミリア」のメインタワーである「イエスの塔」の完成を記念し開催される同展。今年1月より行われた東京会場では、累計17万人を動員した。

会場は7エリアに分かれており、エリア2「記憶の森」では、ガウディの感性を育てた幼少期や、糸杉や蜂の巣など自然から着想を得た建築構造などを紹介。どのようにガウディが「ベリェスグアルド」や「カサカルベット」といった印象的な建築物を作り上げたかを辿ることができる。

さらに、「サグラダファミリア」の設計図原案やガウディが残した写本の未公開ページなど世界初公開となる展示もあり、なかなか見ることができない貴重な資料は必見だ。

■ 映像や模型でガウディ建築に触れる体験ブースも

そんな建築好きにはたまらない空間の同展だが、腰を下ろして座り心地を体験できるカサ・カルベットのチェア（レプリカ）や、ガウディが建築物に取り入れていた構造・カテナリーアーチのオブジェなど、実際に触れたり間近で構造を眺められる展示物が充実。

また、エリア4「発見の工房」ではガウディのアトリエを再現。ガウディが着目していた重力やバランスといった「自然の力」を体験できるブースに加え、来場者がデジタル上の「フニクラ模型」を動かし、ガウディのデザインを想起させるような建築物をスクリーンに映し出せる体験ブースも。こちらはQRコードを読み込めば画像を保存できるので、展覧会に参加した思い出としても嬉しい。

さらにエリア6「永遠の聖堂」では、未完の聖堂として100年以上に渡って建設が続く「サグラダ・ファミリア」の、誕生から現在までをダイナミックな映像・音・演出で辿る。同展示は、東京会場が約4mの高さの壁に投影されていたのに対し、大阪会場では約10mにサイズアップ。

より広大な空間で、臨場感たっぷりな世界に浸ることができる。

『NAKED meets ガウディ展』の会期は、4月17日から6月15日まで。10時〜20時（19時最終入場、土・日・祝日9時30分～18時30分最終入場、5月29日・6月5日・6月15日10時～17時最終入場）。チケット料金は大人2700円（土・日・祝大人2900円）、ほか詳細は公式サイトにて。

"OUTDOOR PARK" is one of the largest outdoor events in the Kansai region. With "outdoor fun" as its theme, the event brings together a wide variety of items to enhance various outdoor activities, including camping, fishing, cycling, and driving. In addition, there are workshops, outdoor experiences, a live stage, and booths offering carefully selected food and drinks. Popular salt bread with long lines... Osaka to host "Bread Festival," featuring 15 shops for two days only.
行列のできる塩パンも...大阪で「パン祭り」、全15店が2日間限定で集結

The event "WE LOVE BAKERY!", featuring bakeries mainly from the Kansai region, has begun at Hirakata T-SITE (Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture). It will be held on April 4th and 5th.

This time, 15 bakeries from the Kansai region will be participating, including 4 newcomers. The lineup includes popular salt bread that always draws crowds at events, award-winning curry bread, fluffy and chewy bagels, and scones with a cherry blossom flavour. Among the newcomers are "Shioki," a popular salt bread specialty shop selling salt bread made with seaweed salt from Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture; "Bagel Koppe," a bagel specialty shop in Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture that sells 1,000 bagels a day; and "Cafe & Mocktail Roots," known for its Danish bread made with specially selected butter from the Nemuro-Kushiro region of Hokkaido. In addition, a variety of other items will be available, including fruit danishes from " Boulangerie Momono Chikaku ," a French bistro, and spicy taco sandwiches from " Boulangerie An 1999," a bakery founded in 1999. "WE LOVE BAKERY!" will be held on April 4th and 5th at the event space on the 1st floor of Hirakata T-SITE, from 10:00 to 16:00 (or until sold out). 関西を中心とするベーカリーが集うイベント『WE LOVE BAKERY!』が、「枚方T-SITE」（大阪府枚方市）にてスタート。4月4日・5日にわたって開催される。

今回は初登場4店舗を含む、関西の全15店舗が集う。催事などで出店のたび行列ができる塩パンや、金賞を受賞したカレーパン、“ふわもち”食感のベーグル、桜の風味が広がるスコーンなどが目白押しだ。

会場では、兵庫県淡路島の藻塩を使用した塩パンを販売する人気店「塩パン専門店しおき」をはじめ、兵庫県三田市にある、1日1000個売れるベーグル専門店「ベーグルコッペ」、北海道根釧地区の特選バターを使用するデニッシュ食パンが看板の「Cafe＆Mocktail Roots」など、初登場する店舗もずらり。

そのほか、フレンチビストロが営む「ブーランジェリーモモノチカク」のフルーツデニッシュや、1999年創業のベーカリー「Boulangerie 餡 1999」のスパイシータコスサンドなど、多彩にスタンバイする。

"Osaka Strawberry Festival" at Kansai TV Ogimachi Square, a gathering of strawberry sweets
関西テレビ扇町スクエアで「大阪ストロベリーフェスティバル」　いちごスイーツ集結

The "OSAKA Strawberry Festival 2026," an event featuring strawberry-based sweets and drinks, will be held at the atrium on the first floor of Kansai TV Ogimachi Square (Kita-ku, Osaka) from March 13th. The menu and all 17 stores participating were announced on the 10th.

"Blue Cocina" Heart-shaped rice flour churros ~Strawberry version~

The main menu items include a luxurious strawberry parfait from RUIT AREA 29, heart-shaped rice flour churros (strawberry version) from Blue Cocina, shaved strawberries from Ichio no Ichigo, original strawberry parfait from Parfait Love, 40cm long strawberry churros from Berry Berry, freshly baked strawberry pie from Strawberry KISS♡, the noble Royal Queen strawberry candy, the queen of Tochigi Prefecture strawberries, from T&G kitchen ichigo, and strawberry daifuku from Amami Dokoro Asakusa Umezono.

　The event will be held from 10:00 to 18:00. Admission is 450 yen in advance and 600 yen on the day. The event will run until March 22nd.
