Deaflympics is the global sports festival for deaf and hard-of-hearing athletes, held every 4 years.
Tokyo 2025 marks the 100th anniversary AND the first time it’s held in Japan!

“Takahashi Shotei x Kawase Hasui: The Technique and Beauty of Japan” at Ota city folk museum.

In 2025, we mark 80 years since the passing of Takahashi Shotei.
The exhibition showcases beautiful landscape prints by Shotei and Kawase Hasui-
two artists who spent part of their lives here in Ota city.
They also brought to life people, flowers, and animals through their art.
Their works capture everyday scenes with a warm, nostalgic touch.
Please enjoy exploring the “world of life” created by these two artists.

Exhibition dates: Oct 7(Tue)-Nov 24(Mon, Holiday)
Hours:9:00AM-5:00PM
Closed on Mondays(open if it’s a national holiday)
