Nara is the Birth Place of Sake
You know what? Nara is the birthplace of sake.
On Saturday, I accompanied a group of twenty foreign residents to the Nara Toyosawa Shuzo Company, which has the largest share of sake production in Nara.
After walking through every corner of the brewery, they had a great time. Fortunately, it wasn't too cold, and they sampled six types of Houshuku bottles. Many of them found their favorites to purchase. I bought a bottle of plum wine, too. It's so good! I hope that tourists from around the world will visit local sake breweries and savor the aromas and umami flavors of each brand.

豊澤社長が要約してくださった奈良における日本酒の歴史は大変興味深いものでした。それでも、皆さんはやはり試飲を一番楽しんでおられました(笑)。関西にはいい酒蔵がたくさんあります。外国人旅行者の酒蔵ツーリズムが、今後もっと盛んになってほしいです。
