I learned that the Hotel Westminster was one of the first hotels in Paris, if not the first from the early 1800s. The entrance is very wide to let the horse and carriage in from back then.

It's right on Rue de la Paix, down the street from the Opera House. Next door to Cartier.

The staff were very kind and eager to help. I loved this historic hotel and would stay here again. It's a great value for its premier address.

one long day in Paris. starting with bread and cheese on a food tour in Montmarte. a beautiful double decker carousel near Hotel de Ville. an indulgent lunch at Le Bristol and then a journey outside Paris to Chateau de Vaux Le Vicomte. an off the beaten path must! we enjoyed a candlelight dinner with fireworks after. back to our hotel after midnight!

Now I'm at Hotel Maison Colbert in a prime location near Notre Dame Cathedral. It's steps away from the Seine and all the wonderful people watching and talented buskers on the bridges. I walked to Le Marais for a cafe latte and a croissant this morning. The weather is perfect!

Hello Burgundy calling all wine lovers I'm on a wine river cruise with my friend Master Sommelier Peter Neptune. Here's a look at my cute but tiny cabin on AmaWaterways ship, AmaCello. I'll be spying on the river from my fixed windows.

Peter is hosting the first wine tasting on board today and this year he's brought a power point to go with the bottles. Stepping up the wine education!

What a gorgeous view of Boston Harbor I had from the InterContinental Boston! Simply stunning. I loved my spacious room with lots of space to spread out. I spent several hours in the club lounge waiting for my room to be ready and it was so comfortable. There is a fireplace and continuous snacks and drinks! Let me know if Boston is on your radar. This is my 4th hotel stay in the city.

I stayed at the Global Ambassador hotel in Phoenix, Arizona recently. It's a Preferred Hotels & Resorts property. And Virtuoso so I can get some fun extra amenities here.

This hotel is hip & happening, the bar & restaurant is a see and be seen nighttime fun zone.

Thea restaurant on the top floor overlooks Camelback Mountain while a DJ spins tunes and wait staff pass around delicious Mediterranean cuisine. I was impressed!

The historic and fantastic Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. Always a great choice on the Chao Phraya River. The spa is divine! When you stay here you know you’re in Thailand. Every detail, taste of the food, scent of the flowers, speaks to a culture maintained here. Perfectly Thai.

Four Seasons Bangkok by the river. Walk right into the calm lobby with a big pond greeting you, floor to ceiling art, fresh flowers and kind staff. You know you’re in a Four Seasons. This beautiful hotel sits on a huge acreage. My favorite here is BKK Social Club. Awarded best bar in Asia - and it really is.
