ガイドブックには載っていない手づくりの旅を通じて、燕三条の日常（ものづくり、人、自然、文化、食）を五感で体験。

June 13th, we had the pleasure of hosting guests from Germany. 🇩🇪
This time, under the guidance of copper artisan Makoto Susa , they tried their hand at crafting their own copper keychains by carefully hammering and shaping copper plates.
At first, they were a little nervous, but before long they found their rhythm, filling the workshop with energy, smiles, and laughter.
It was a wonderful opportunity not only to experience Japanese craftsmanship firsthand, but also to connect with the passion and dedication behind each handmade piece.

今回は、須佐真さんの指導のもと、銅板を一つひとつ丁寧に叩きながら、オリジナルのキーチェーン作りに挑戦していただきました。
初めての作業に最初は緊張気味でしたが、次第にリズムをつかみ、工房には笑顔と活気があふれていました。
ものづくりの楽しさだけでなく、職人の技や想いにも触れていただけた貴重な時間となりました。

先日、新潟県日本文理高等学校の皆さんをお迎えし、燕三条エリアでものづくりを学ぶ校外学習ツアーを行いました。

実際の工場や職人の現場を訪れ、
製品がどのように作られているのか、
どんな想いで道具を作っているのかを学んでいただきました。

機械だけでは完成しない、
最後は職人の経験や感覚が品質を支えていること。
そして、地域全体で技術を受け継いできた燕三条のものづくり文化。

生徒の皆さんが真剣に話を聞き、
積極的に質問している姿がとても印象的でした。

また、今回は笹団子作り体験も行い、
“作る”という文化が工業だけでなく、
食や暮らしにも根付いている新潟らしさも体験していただきました。

今回の経験が、
地元の産業や働くことについて考えるきっかけになれば嬉しいです。

On Oct 11th, we had the pleasure of guiding our guests from Germany through a one-day KRaft tour in Tsubame-Sanjo.
Under the guidance of local blacksmiths, they experienced forging their own paper knives — heating the material red-hot and shaping it with each strike of the hammer.
What began with cautious taps soon turned into confident rhythm, filling the workshop with energy and smiles.

After the workshop, they enjoyed traditional Japanese cuisine at a local ryotei restaurant, and concluded the day with a peaceful visit to Yahiko Shrine, the spiritual heart of Niigata.
A memorable day of craftsmanship, culture, and nature.

10月11日、ドイツからのお客様をご案内しました。
燕三条では鍛冶職人の指導のもと、真っ赤に熱した鉄を打ち、ペーパーナイフづくりに挑戦。
初めての金槌作業に最初は緊張気味でしたが、次第にリズムをつかみ、工房には笑顔と活気があふれました。

体験のあとは老舗料亭で日本料理を堪能し、旅の締めくくりには越後一宮・弥彦神社を参拝。
伝統と自然、美しい日本の心を感じていただけた一日でした。🇯🇵
