Winter is the best season for Asahikawa!
Located in the central Hokkaido. People from all over the world visit Asahiyama Zoo all year round. Snow activities and Ramen is also quite famous.

2.5 hours drive from Asahikawa, Sounkyo is also wonderful place to visit. The Ice Waterfall Festival hold in February will bring you an extraordinary experience of winter!
