日本で働く技能実習生は日本語を話す機会も持てず、単純作業でやりがいを感じられない、帰国したくても借金があるので帰国できない。うまく技能を習得して成功している子たちもゼロではないと思いますが、記事にもあるように「日本は実習生を労働力としてしか見ていない。日本が稼げる場所でなくなったら日本を選ばない」というのが悲しい現実ですね。日本で技能を身に着けようと思って日本にくる子はほとんどいないと思います。名目上は帰国後日本で習得した技能を生かして業務に従事すると施行規則で定められていますが、実態は2～3%の実習生しか帰国後も日本で経験した同じ業種の仕事に就く人はいないようです。ちなみに労働力不足と向き合った特定技能では、日本人と同じ水準の給与を支払うことが義務付けられています。Technical intern trainees who work in Japan do not have the opportunity to speak Japanese, do not feel rewarded by simple work, and cannot return home because they are in debt even if they want to.
