【Kagurazaka Machi Butai: Oedo Meguri 2026/神樂坂街舞台:大江戶巡遊2026】
Experience traditional Japanese performing arts in the charming streets of Kagurazaka, Tokyo.
“Kagurazaka Machi Butai: Oedo Meguri 2026” will be held on May 16 (Sat) and 17 (Sun).
■About the Festival
Kagurazaka is a special area where you can experience both old and modern Japan. You can find a traditional geisha district, stone-paved alleys, and a historic Edo-period atmosphere. At the same time, the area also has a touch of Parisian style and is sometimes called “Petite Paris.”
This annual festival, organized with the local community, is a great opportunity to enjoy Japanese traditional performing arts and culture in a relaxed, open setting.
There are also fun activities such as a stamp rally around local landmarks and programs for children, so visitors of all ages can enjoy the event.
Whether it’s your first time in Japan or you are already a fan of Japanese culture, come and discover something new in Kagurazaka😉
