Did you know Japan’s Diet had an openly le***an member??? 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏳️‍🌈🧡🤍🩷🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

Kanako Otsuji, born in 1974, was elected to the Osaka Assembly in 2003. Making history as the youngest person to do so at only 28 years old!

In 2013, after her party member of the House resigned, Otsuji became Japan’s first openly le***an member of the House of Representatives!

In 2019, she submitted a same-sex marriage to the Diet. You may have seen the iconic images of her and her partner of four years, holding a wedding ceremony!Though unfortunately their partnership was not legally recognized…

We hope in the future Japan becomes a country where their marriage can be legally recognized~! 💞💞💞

The series draws inspiration from ‘Shibari’ (Japanese rope art), exploring themes of sensuality, restraint, intimacy, and the human form.

Available online starting this Friday August 21 globally.
