At the annual Daruma Market (March 3–4), a monk paints the left eye of your daruma with an ancient Sanskrit character for good fortune ✨ With over 300 stalls and a traditional monk procession, it’s one of Japan’s top spots to get a daruma.
Founded in the 8th century, Jindaiji is Tokyo’s second-oldest temple, famous for its historic Buddha statue, soba noodles, and this vibrant Edo-era tradition.
