【Nagano Prefecture, Komagane City】
Komagane City is located in the southern part of Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Nestled in the valleys of the central and southern Alps, it has a rich natural landscape, including the very famous Senjojiki Cirque. Cirque is semi-circular depressions formed by glacial erosion during the last ice age. It is now a treasure trove of alpine plants, and in summer a variety of beautiful flowers bloom.
Komagatake Ropeway, located on the east side of the mountain, will take you to a height of 2,600 meters. Even if you are not used to mountain climbing, you can easily enjoy the view.

【Nagano Prefecture, Tsumago-juku】

【Lake Kawaguchiko, Lavender】
About 100,000 lavender plants are planted in Lake Kawaguchi. The best viewing time is from late June to mid-July. Every year in Oishi Park, there is a "herb festival". This year it is scheduled to take place from June 18th to July 10th.
Oishi Park is a popular sightseeing spot at Lake Kawaguchiko, where you can see Lake Kawaguchiko and lavender with Mt. Fuji.

【Shinhotaka Ropeway, Gifu Prefecture】
Hida Mountain Range is called the Northern Alps of Japan because many peaks are more than 2000 meters above sea level. Even in June, there is still snow on the top of the mountains.
Shinhotaka ropeway is the only double deck cable car in Japan, which can take you to an altitude of 2156 meters. It has been running for more than 50 years, so old gondola cars was replaced by new ones at the 50th anniversary of 2020, with a more modern and beautiful design.
